I had my site hosted at SurfSpeedy.Com and may I please suggest that no one ever host from that site or any other site run by Steve Empie and Co.!

A couple weeks ago, they received an incorrect report that dups.ca was spamming (!!!) and instead of checking on the complaint they decided to simply terminate my account and delete my files. Great customer service there! As a person who abhors spammers I would much rather they have collected all the files and evidence and handed me over to the authorities, then at least I could have dealt with it. If they did that to more spammers, it would make life a lot easier for all of us!

It took two days to get a straight answer, all their tech support people agree I’ve been treated badly and they even refunded my money (an indication of guilt). However, they apparently deleted my files in the process. At present I am in the process of reconstructing the site with a new look, preparing to take action with the appropriate authorities on how SurfSpeedy and their ISP LayeredTech have treated me.

Take this as a warning… Do not trust a web site host!
